Hey everyone! The Returning.AI team is excited to share our latest updates designed to improve user experience and provide more robust community management tools. Here’s what’s new:

    Forum Channel Updates

We’ve updated the forum sorting in the "latest" tab so that topics are now sorted based on the most recent comment rather than the topic creation date. This ensures that active, ongoing discussions are more visible and easily accessible to your community. In addition, forum topic views now reflect the total number of views rather than just unique views. This change gives you a more comprehensive understanding of overall engagement, highlighting the full extent of interest in any given topic.

    Incoming Webhook History Log

We’ve implemented a history log for incoming webhooks, allowing community owners to filter through past deliveries. This makes it easier to troubleshoot or review webhook activity over time.

    Enhanced Markdown Formatting

Our Markdown formatting on the community front has been updated to offer more varied ways for users to style their texts. This improvement helps foster richer, more expressive conversations in your community.

    Bug Fixes and Improvements:

    - Fixed a bug that caused the custom field columns in the user list to not appear in the downloaded CSV export.

    - Fixed a bug causing users to receive rewarded XP and Coins for connecting their social media accounts.

    Permissions Updated with Community Tags

Now that community tags have been fully implemented, we’ve updated permission restrictions in channels, social integrations, the store, and custom leaderboards to reflect both roles and tags. With these changes, you now have an even more nuanced way to control access and tailor experiences for different segments of your community.

Tiers and Levels Migration to V2

We’ve successfully migrated our Tiers and Levels system to V2. This update allows for smoother tracking of community achievements and ensures that your gamification and reward structures work seamlessly with our upgraded platform, helping to keep user progress in perfect sync with your community goals.

    Login Management Migration

Our login management has also been migrated to V2. This update integrates your login API so that existing users automatically receive matching roles upon sign-up. New Outgoing Webhook Events

We’re excited to introduce new outgoing webhook events that trigger whenever users complete a milestone or referral condition. These events ensure that you can automate and monitor key community activities in real-time, keeping your integrations and automated processes tightly coordinated.

    Milestone Community Settings Redesign

We’ve rolled out a fresh new design for milestone community settings. This visually appealing update offers your members a refined way to track their progress through milestones, ensuring that achievements are both motivating and easy to follow.

    Enhanced Webhook Security and Tracking

We’ve added an AES key option for outgoing webhooks—with support for both CBC and GCM encryption methods—to bolster security on your outbound requests significantly. Additionally, we’ve introduced a log that tracks the history of incoming webhooks, providing you with greater transparency and traceability in your integrations. To further improve your store's connectivity, we’ve added a new outgoing webhook event—“store purchase”—which triggers when a user makes a purchase from the store and includes detailed item information like the item name, description, and more.
