Hey everyone! This week, we're introducing a new feature designed to simplify onboarding for larger communities, along with updates to streamline integrations and fix lingering bugs. Here's everything we've worked on:

    New Updates

    Import Users Feature

We’ve rolled out the Import Users feature, making it easier for clients with larger communities to onboard their members. By uploading a CSV file with user data, community owners can seamlessly import members into their community. Emails containing login details will automatically be sent to imported users. Upon logging in for the first time, users will be prompted to review and agree to the community’s policies and disclaimers, as well as update their password.

    Updated Facebook Integration

Connecting Facebook accounts to Returning.AI is now even easier. Client ID and secret keys are no longer mandatory for the integration, simplifying the process for community owners.

    Bug Fixes and Improvements

    - Resolved an issue where single images were displayed with incorrect sizing.

    - Addressed UI bugs that surfaced during the YouTube integration for Social Quests, ensuring a smoother experience for community owners.

Let us know your thoughts on these updates! We’re always working to make Returning.AI better for you. 😊

Hello everyone! We’re thrilled to share another round of updates with you. Our team has been focused on enhancing features and fixing issues to ensure a smoother experience for all community owners. Here's what's new:

    New Updates

    Social Quests Migration to v2

We’ve successfully migrated the upgraded Social Quests system to v2! With Social Quests, community members can earn rewards for engaging with your social media posts. This drives increased activity in your community while boosting your social media growth, helping you maximize engagement across the board.

    Enhanced YouTube Channel Integration

We’ve made it easier to integrate YouTube channels with Social Quests. Admins no longer need ownership of the channel—manager access with the channel ID is now enough to enable the integration.

    WooCommerce Integration Improvements

To streamline purchases in your community’s WooCommerce store, users can now create WooCommerce accounts directly within your community. Password creation has been added for these new accounts, making the purchase process much simpler and more user-friendly.

    User List Updates

We've introduced two new features to the user list:

    • Referred By Column: Easily track who referred a member into your community.
    • Custom Badge Management: Admins can now add or remove custom badges for any user directly from the user list.

    Bug Fixes and Improvements

    - Resolved an issue where new user joins were not triggering outgoing webhooks.

    - Added username restrictions to improve consistency. Usernames can no longer include spaces, punctuation, or special characters.

    - Fixed a UI bug that caused the message container to shift when a long URL was sent.

Let us know how these updates are working for you! As always, your feedback helps us fine-tune the experience. 😊

    Improvement

Hey everyone! We're starting off the year strong with new features and enhancements aimed at giving you more control and visibility over your community’s engagement. Here’s what’s new this week:

    New Updates:

Social Quests - Custom Earning Methods and Adjustments

In preparation for the move of Social Quests to v2, we’re improving on various aspects that will give community owners more flexibility. You can now enable "Custom Earning Methods and Adjustments" for individual posts. This means you can adjust the reward amounts (XP/Coins) for specific posts, allowing you to incentivize posts that need more engagement. For instance, award higher points for sharing key updates or promotional content. If custom adjustments are turned off, rewards will follow the default point settings.

    Introducing the Gamification Log

We’re excited to announce the Gamification Log! This feature allows community owners to track all gamification-related actions in one place. Monitor XP and coins earned, badges awarded, and other engagement stats within your community. The log automatically refreshes every hour but can also be refreshed manually. This ensures you always have the latest updates to better understand and manage your community's activity.

    Bug Fixes and Improvements:

    - Fixed an issue with Activity Notifications requiring users to click twice to navigate to a message.

    - Resolved a bug where deleting the “@” in a mention while editing a message would remove the entire mention instead of just the “@”

We’re always working to make your experience better. Keep the feedback coming, and here’s to a productive start to 2024! 🎉

    Improvement

Hey everyone! As we wrap up the year, we’ve been hard at work bringing major improvements to Returning.AI. Here’s what’s new this week:

    New Updates

    Audit Log Migration to v2

Our Audit Log has been successfully migrated to v2! The Audit Log provides detailed records of actions within your community, including new registrations, logins, policy acceptances, and more. Each entry comes with time and IP stamps, ensuring you have a transparent and comprehensive record of all key activities in your community.

    Enhanced Leaderboard Durations

We’ve revamped our leaderboard feature to make custom competitions more dynamic. Previously, the leaderboard duration determined only the visibility period for the leaderboard. Now, it also defines the period in which data is collected and ranked. This means community owners can run competitions where only contributions within the selected timeframe count. It encourages consistent participation, as members will need to stay active throughout the competition rather than relying on early leads.

"Mark All as Read" for Activity Notifications

To simplify notifications, we’ve added a “Mark All as Read” option for activity notifications. This helps users overwhelmed by notifications clear their inboxes quickly without needing to check each one individually.

    Bug Fixes and Improvements

    - This week, we tackled a whole bunch of bugs related to the UI of our storefront which includes but is not limited to:

    • Products on sale now properly display a “sale” label in the top-right corner.
    • Edited WooCommerce product dimensions now reflect correctly on the storefront.
    • The "Remaining stock" label now appears in red when stock is low.
    • Fixed an issue where stock numbers didn’t decrease after a purchase.
    • Store items on v2 are now arranged according to the community owner’s store settings instead of appearing chronologically.

    - Resolved an issue preventing users from removing embedded hyperlink content on v2.

    - Fixed a bug where Role XP and Coin rewards weren’t granted when roles were automatically assigned through LoginAPI.

Thanks for sticking with us this year! We’re excited for what’s to come in 2025. Let us know how we can make Returning.AI even better for your community!
